"The Word Prevailing"

In Acts 6, the believers had to resolve a problem in the church before the Word of God could spread. In Acts 12, Herod put Peter in prison, in an effort to stop the vessel that spread the Word. But believers offered constant prayer for Peter until the Lord sent an angel to release him. Hebrews 1:14 says angels are "sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation." When we pray, God sends ministering spirits to do what we cannot do. But we must watch over our words. What we say determines what God can do on our behalf. Proverbs 6:2 says, "You are snared by the words of your mouth." Revelation 12:11 says we overcome when we speak the testimony of the Word of God.
